So that will tell you if a panel has been repainted. Doesn’t mean that a car has been wrecked just because it may have a repaint on certain panels

When I’ve filed claims through Geico that weren’t my fault Geico never submitted info and NYS seems to be bad at paperwork. I know my charger shows an accident on carfax but not on autocheck as well.

I sold my wifes suv. I informed the people buying it that it was in 3 accidents. They pulled the carfax to check for liens… None of the 3 accidents were on the carfax. All 3 accidents went thru insurance and were repaired at a popular repair shop. These accidents are all from years ago.

Who supplies carfax with their info? I dont really trust carfax anymore… But what other route can a guy take to determine if a car was smashed up before?
